Arjun Deshwal: Real Kabaddi Player’s Biography

Family

Arjun Deshwal’s village is a typical place where farming is the way of life. His father, Charan Singh, spent his days working their land, and his mother, Seema, managed the household. Deshwal also has a younger brother, Aryan. Nothing fancy, just honest hard work – the kind of background many Indian Kabaddi stars share. Nothing is known about Arjun Deshwal’s wife – she maintains her life under wraps. She is a police DSP. Arjun Deshwal stands at about 5’10”.

Education

Deshwal did his education at Heritage Public School in Baser and later at CCS University in Meerut. Like most Indian kids, he played cricket growing up. But at 14, Arjun Deswal’s Kabaddi interest began to bloom after noticing village players returning from tournaments with actual prizes – something cricket wasn’t offering. 

The strict training hit hard, though, and he even quit once. Arjun Deshwal’s family talked him into giving it another shot, which turned out to be the right call.
